NOTICE...OUR RENNOVATIONS TO THE HOSTEL ARE NOT COMPLETE!
We've hit delays for various reasons so until you see this notice removed, we are extremely limited on how many touring cyclists we can host and we may not have room. You must call in advance to check availability.
UPDATE: From June 10th through June 24th, Trans Am Bike Race racers will have priority in the shop. During this time, we will not be hosting tourers because we simply don't have the space and staff. We are, however, still allowing limited service requests as we can fit you in and of course we enjoy meeting each of you, having you get pics with us and sign the touring wall. Please understand, however, that depending on when you arrive in Newton during these next two weeks, it just may not be work out to see us. From June 10th through June 24th, we will be closed to the public so you must call ahead during these days to let us know you need service and we will evaluate at that time if we can work you in based on the racer flow. Welcome to the Heartland of America!
The city of Newton offers over 12 blocks of cyclist friendly commerce on the Trans Am Bicycle Trail. A great place to re-supply and enjoy a few days off.
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. CLICK HERE FOR INFO.
We provide "cyclist only" hosting with beds, showers, laundry, kitchen, grill, WiFi, Netflix, pool table, air hockey, arcade, bike wash, bike service discounts included with your stay and MORE. We also have within walking distance several out services such as restaurants, coffee bars, spirits, grocery stores, gift shops, library, museums and post office. Stay the night with us and enjoy Newton. Our hostel can host up to 20 cyclists.
Want to ship your touring supplies to our store for your trip?
Newton Bike Shop will hold supplies for you until you arrive free of charge. Just contact using the form below and let us know you have a shipped a package to us and we will hold your package till you arrive.

Newton Bike Shop is a proud member of the Adventure Cycling Association
Reservations need to be made 24-48 hours in advance to ensure space.
Due to increased reservations, each guest is allowed up to 3 nights.
Check in time is between 10:00 am - 9:00 pm for advance reserved guests only,
but we must be notified if arriving after normal business hours.
If you did not reserve 24 hours ahead and choose to call ahead on the day you would like to arrive, we must still have 3 hours advance notice, and we will host you as we have room. You must be able to arrive during normal business hours in these cases.
Check out time for the hostel is 10:00 am on your departure day.

Our touring cyclist hostel operates in part on support donations from cyclists, customers and our local community. Our dedication as a biking family is not to only host touring cyclist crossing America, but introduce them to our community. More than 3000 touring cyclists cross our country every season and our facility supplies shelter from the Kansas elements so they can enjoy our community. Newton Bike Shop hosts around 350 touring cyclists a season.
We are always improving our hostel and any support donation made is used to operate or improve the hostel. If you would like to support our hostel please click the donation button below.
